MS MobilityStrength Multiple Sclerosis

I am a 48 yr old at-home mom, diagnosed with MS in 1995. I finally accepted reality in 2000 and started the ABC drugs.  After 8 years, I wasn’t responding to anything and was looking into in-home health care.  My mom found a Cytoxan test study  at Johns Hopkins.  I participated in the study and my MS was put in remission.  It was suggested that I start Copaxone within a month of the Cytoxan and I did.  According to the MRI I have no new legions at this point, but the damage that was done is done and I’m still using a walkerthat converts to a wheelchair when necessary. As long as I do everything right, (Sleep, eat, take meds, meditate,exercise, and keep a positive attitude) I feel great!  I mean I feel wonderful!  I have accepted my new reality, my ‘newnormal’ and I’m having a blast!
